The Lincolnshire English Attainment Project (LEAP)
The Lincolnshire Teaching School Together partnership (LTT) have been awarded £495,758 to support 41 Lincolnshire Primary schools.
Marie-Claire Bretherton, chair of Lincolnshire Teaching Schools Together said “The Lincolnshire English Attainment Project (LEAP) aims to reduce the attainment gap for disadvantaged children and vulnerable groups at Early Years, KS1 & KS2 by improving literacy and communication skills.
We will provide identified schools with the tools and knowledge to review and refine their approach to closing the gap in literacy, alongside an evidence-based package of interventions and programmes aimed at supporting disadvantaged children and vulnerable groups.”
Lincolnshire Teaching Schools Together has been awarded over £490,000 to support Lincolnshire Primary schools in addressing the needs of their most vulnerable children.
The Lincolnshire English Attainment Project (LEAP) will focus on closing the attainment gap of the most vulnerable children in our county. The literacy based support is targeted to empower Headteachers and their staff to deliver high quality classroom teaching to ensure all children are able to access the curriculum and make optimum progress through their primary years.
